History of Practice and Portfolio for Dr. Linda Levine Silverman
Dr. Silverman holds both a Masters Degree in Psychology (Behavioral Assessment specialty) and a Doctorate in Psychology (Behavioral Medicine concentration) and is certified in hypnosis, addictions, and executive life and health coaching. She has had over 30 years experience in the areas of behavioral assessment, counseling, stress management, alcohol and drug detoxification, addiction recovery issues, and illness and disability. In addition, Dr. Silverman is a published writer, public speaker, and radio talk show host, and has held multiple leadership positions in both the metropolitan areas of Washington, D.C. and Orlando, FL.
She is active in the American Cancer Society, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and holds membership in the American Hypnosis Association and the Holistic Network.
The Center for Personal Excellence (formerly known as Healthy Living Strategies, Inc.) is a holistically-oriented, integrative emotional and physical wellness practice headquartered in the metropolitan Orlando area. Originating in the Washington, DC area in 1998, the practice relocated to central Florida in 2005. The Center for Personal Excellence is focused on providing complementary wellness services to medical and psychiatric practices and to the general population. Our goal is to empower individuals to further enhance their wellness and healing in addition to continuing their work with their traditional medical practitioners.
